Strike one Katy Perry...Strike One...
I liked Katy Perry’s first two singles. I may have considered them guilty pleasures, but I liked them; however, the new one sucks. It isn’t catchy, It isn’t edgy, and it doesn’t even make sense. Her song-form of “The Hangover” has the lyric:
“that’s what you get for waking up in Vegas”
…No you dumb bitch…that’s what you get for getting hammered in Vegas…or doing methamphetamine in Vegas…I don’t know why that line irks me so much, but c’mon, how hard could it be to work the lyrics around to make a lick of sense.
Not hard. You make millions, Katy Perry, try making sense too.

I don’t know, Nate. While I’ve never woken up in Vegas, I imagine that if I were lucky enough to actually wake up after a night in Vegas, the line would probably ring true.
Why is this being considered a new song? And are we comparing this to her lesbonic phenomenon? btw, i do actually like Katy Perry.
It is her newest single that has been released…good enough for me.
