I don’t know exactly what’s happening on campus, but I do want to say that the text message alerts work. I was about to leave for class when I got the alerts and then saw the news on WBKO.

I’m guessing the university doesn’t want me to come to campus just yet, so I’m going to keep hanging at my apartment. So Dr. Browder, sorry for missing class. Again.

In all seriousness, if you’re reading this and you don’t know what’s happening, either stay away from campus or, if you’re on campus, take shelter immediately. I don’t know exactly what’s happening, but there were gunmen at south campus and shots fired outside PFT.

I pray that everything is okay and everyone is safe. Like I said, I don’t know what is going on, so it could be a small thing. Let’s not blow it out of proportion just yet. But also, let’s be smart and not play with our lives. So I’m staying here.

I suggest you do the same.
