"Where The Wild Things Are" is a shitty book...even for kids...

Even Michael Puckett might agree! (I haven’t asked him yet though, so I’m not sure).

Koyasan

Last Friday, on a whim, I decided to take a train down to the head of a 23km trail that would take myself and two friends to the town of Koya, the heart of a sect of Buddhism called Shingon.

Art by Jenny Morehead

/ By Jenny Morehead

“I love to take pictures of the here and now. Scenes change so quickly and it is amazing to me how different the same place/person can look just seconds after a picture is taken. Recess for me is taking my camera and finding out what the day has to offer. I am always in a better frame of mind even when the pictures I take don’t turn out the way I planned. No rush, no fuss, just playing.”

Jenny Morehead is a teacher at Warren East Middle School. Jenny has been taking pictures since she got her first camera at age 9. Her two children have had well documented childhoods.

Loved both pics! I enjoy taking pictures also. Our world is a constant ever changing canvas. The crocus remind us Spring has arrived on the scene. Beautiful crocus! Is this a covered bridge? If so where is it located?

Jenny,
Those photos are absolutely breathtaking. I had no idea you were so talented in photography. Didn’t you enter an art piece several years back in the Warren County Teacher Art showing at the Board. You have some other artistic talents too. Let me play the devil’s advocate. Would you like to teach art at WEMS:) Smile, Smile!!!
