I’ve spent a bit of time in Kyoto quite a few times this and last year and last and thought it’d be a great spot to spend Halloween with a couple friends.

Art by Naomi Lowe

/ By Naomi Lowe

“Bunnies”, Acrylic on poster board

“Blue Trees”, Acrylic on poster board

“I love bright colors. And different colors express different moods. I haven’t had any training in art. I have seen some Bob Ross shows. And I don’t think I can draw, but I can paint. I have been told that I would make a great illustrator for children’s books.
My work is recession-proof, too. My paintings are made with acrylic paints on poster board, which is super cheap. Less than a dollar per canvas. That way, you can have a large painting for little cost.”

Naomi Lowe graduated from WKU in 2005 with a BA in Sociology. She has been happily committed to Jason Moody for 11 years, and has a lovely daughter named Cloie.

These are awesome. I REALLY like the style of these and her other paintings I’ve seen. I believe I’ve even asked for Blue Trees to be willed to me, but was denied. :) Great work.

Beautiful works of art. They remind me of the Yellow Submarine artwork (from the movie :D)!
